Justice is personal. So are we.

Pippa

Office Morale & Compliance Officer

As the resident Office Morale & Compliance Officer at Lumme & Associates, I take my role very seriously — when I’m awake. At just 18 months old, I’ve already established myself as the firm’s most composed presence in conference meetings (as long as there’s a comfortable spot to nap).

My day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing office operations from various napping stations, providing silent but firm counsel during difficult cases, and ensuring the team maintains an appropriate level of calm—usually by strategically placing my head on their laps.

Occasionally, I’ll greet clients, but only if I find their case sufficiently compelling. I have a particular interest in Rest & Digest Law, specialising in extended lunch breaks and the fair distribution of roast chicken — an area in which I am both an expert and a passionate advocate. I also enforce mandatory pet breaks, ensuring the team stays emotionally regulated and appropriately distracted.

While my work is demanding, I remain approachable. Justice may be blind, but it should never be short on belly rubs.

Outside the office, I enjoy leisurely strolls, lobbying for second servings, and perfecting the art of the well-timed sigh when ignored.
